Kanye "to tha" West is being sued by Motorcycle Daredevil "Evel" Knievel.
The Legendary Stuntman has filed a multi-million dollar suit against the Multi-Platinum Producer/Rapper. Filed in US District Court the Lawsuit accuses Kanye of tarnishing the Knievel Legacy and also names the video's director and Roc-A-Fella Records as defendants.
The video features a "fictional" stuntman, "Evel Kanyevel" as he attempts to jump a canyon. Clearly referencing Evel's 1974 attempt at the Snake River Canyon in Wyoming.
Knievel has been quoted as saying the video, "may reflect his way of life, but it's sure not mine..." further stating that he doesn't want his children or grandchildren "associated with this kind of thing," and declaring that he wants it stopped. Beyond the lawsuit, royalties and an injunction preventing Kanye West from using the Evel Knievel image in the future are being sought.
