Television personality and sports commentator Pat Parnell is named host of FUEL TV's original daily series "The Daily Habit," it was announced today by CJ Olivares, SVP and Assistant General Manager, FUEL TV and Scott Paridon, executive producer of the series. Parnell's first episode premieres tonight at 9pm ET/PT. "Pat is one of the leading on-air talents in action sports. His extensive knowledge of, and personal connection to, the sports and the riders makes him the ideal host for "The Daily Habit." We're very excited about building on the early success of the show with addition of Pat and look forward to tapping into some of his lesser known talents as well," said CJ Olivares, SVP and Assistant General Manager.

Beginning with network launch in 2003, Parnell has hosted numerous specials on FUEL TV surrounding key industry events such as the yearly Surfer Poll Awards and action sports film festival X-Dance, along with original FUEL TV red-carpet series "Blue Carpet Special." Parnell's broad action sports experience includes coverage of the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City where the USA snowboarding team swept the competition, the JEEP World of Adventure Sports Series now in its third season, Vans Triple Crown events, Gravity Games and the Dew Action Sports Tour. He recently served as the play-by-play commentator for snowboarding events during the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino and traveled the globe with the Association of Surfing Professionals World Championship Tour (ASP WCT). From 1996-2001, Parnell served as host of the MTV Sports and Music Festival while also working on the Summer and Winter X Games.

Since its launch in October 2005, "The Daily Habit," which surveys the best in youth culture with today's most popular action sports personalities and cutting-edge music and comedy, has welcomed more than 180 athletes and musicians. "The Daily Habit" encompasses the world of the action sports enthusiast. Featured daily are celebrity guests, action sports athletes and musicians who are relevant to this rapidly growing audience. The show will highlight new products and music by independent, alternative and hip hop artists.

Appearing in next week's episodes of "The Daily Habit" are surfers Ryan Carlson along with musical guests Nine Black Alps, Eric Geiselman with musical guests Jonny Lives, Alex Gray and Holly Beck; and skateboarder Jake Duncombe. The week of August 7th, actor and comedian Tom Green joins a guest roster that includes surfers Michael Spencer and Lisa Andersen, skateboarder Braydon Szafranski, BMX rider Luke Parslow and musical guest The Spores.

Executive producers are FUEL TV's SVP and Assistant General Manger CJ Olivares and VP, Production and Development Scott Paridon; the director is Jennifer L. Goodman.
